Project 4: Abstract Motion
Inspiration
I spent some time exploring YouTube, where I found a lot of videos that use simple shapes and movements to convey deep messages and create visually stunning experiences. These videos struck me with their ability to tell compelling stories and evoke emotions with minimalistic design, proving that less can indeed be more. This sparked a desire in me to create something similar—something that speaks volumes through simplicity. By focusing on the essence of movement and shape, I want to craft an animation that is both visually captivating and emotionally resonant, proving that powerful storytelling doesn’t always require complexity.
Storyboard
In my project, I envision my journey as a small planet navigating a cosmos of larger celestial bodies. These larger planets represent the challenges and influences I face along the way. At the beginning, these obstacles often steer me off course. However, with every challenge, I gain new insights and adapt, which allows me to shine more brightly. Over time, I've evolved into a planet that moves independently and interacts harmoniously with others, embodying resilience and adaptability. This metaphorical journey highlights how I have grown through perseverance and learning, ultimately finding my own path and balance in the vast universe.

Editing Process
I wanted to keep everything simple and minimalist so everything in my video are all made from shapes. So I started by creating the shapes and layout where they are supposed to be before I put into texture.

With those done, I put in effects to add in texture for the shapes. I uses grain and noise for the texture as well as using gradient ramp to make them look bright and vibrant so that it'll look more attracting for the audiences' eyeballs.
