Project 2: Kinetic Typography, Animation Chart and Vector Animation
This is a group project where we pick a song and create a kinetic typography animation out of it using the lyrics. The song we chose is Enemy by Imagine Dragons which is covered by Reinaeiry. We chose this song because we think that the lyrics would make cool text effects. After we are done with picking the song, we started searching for references which will be suitable for the video such as, colour scheme, font and mood that can be applied to the kinetic typography video.

We split up the lyrics so that each of us gets to work on the lyrics video without confusion. Each of the group member would focus on the kinetic typography of their lyric portion. The lyrics I got was the first part which is:
- I wake up to the sounds,
Of the silence that allows,
For my mind to run around,
With my ear up to the ground.

After working together with my groupmates, we finally finished with the kinetic typography video. Everyone are happy and satisfied with each others' work. We managed to make our parts look consistent.

Animation Chart
During Week 3, we learnt how to animate bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, etc. in After Effects. I designed and animated a donut chart appointed by the lecturer on google sheets.

Vector Animation
During Week 4, we learned to organize layers in Adobe Illustrator and importing them into After Effects to create vector animation. We also learnt how to create a bounce effect to make an animation more interesting. We also get to learn how to use puppet pin tools to create a more complicated animation.

We were also given vector assets to work on to create vector animation. The one that I was appointed with was Vector A. I tried to make the car slow down as it saw the hitchhikers trying to get a ride. I also made the hitchhikers wave their hands to grab the attention of the car.
