Task 

For the special task, we are offered to participate in Jaya Grocer's competition which is to design an Angpao based on the theme togetherness. It was a group project and I was grouped with Shao Zihang on this project. We worked together on the sketches and the main ideas since we are both Chinese and are familiar with angpao so it was easier for us to come out with different ideas and suggestions. We also did some research on Angpao designs before we proceed with the Angpao design so that we can use it as references and inspiration.

We wanted to make the angpao design simple and nice so we came out with different designs. For one of the element we came out with for the angpao I implemented stamp looking design that consist of both the rabbit and words that both represent blessing and effort, which was often used in Angpaos. For the second element, I implemented that Fu (福) to be designed to fit in a round circular shape to portray that sense of "togetherness" with rabbit ear being part of the feature for the word Fu.

We came out with these sketches for the front of the angpao that showed both visual of togetherness and the words that represent blessings and togetherness.
