Week 7

This week we did photo shoots for our Project 2C, photo manipulation, in the photography studio. We needed to find photo manipulation references to show what type of lighting we wanted to use and how to compose it.

Sketch idea 

This is the sketch idea that I came out with. I want to use google images of butterflies and edit them to make it look like they flew out from the box.

Practical

During photo session, we practiced with a DSLR camera and took pictures to use for our Project 2C. Here are the results from the photo shoot.

After a few try out and experiments , I used another photo so that it will be easier for me to edit.

Progress 

I first started with separating the box away from the background.

After that I added in photos of butterflies that I prepared beforehand. I also coloured inside the box because I wanted to make it look like lights are shining inside of the box. I also added in black background so that the light can be seen more easily.

Final Outcome

Overall I'm quite satisfied with my final design.
