Week 5

This week we learn about Double Exposure. Double exposure in photography means merging multiple images into one. The goal is to make them surreal, emotional, or humorous. It usually feature silhouettes. There are multiple ways to create the effect such as:
  • Tilt-Shift Effect
  • Create fake reflection
  • Experiment with simple portraits and details textured
  • Converting the results to Black and White
  • Work with silhouette
  • Pick random photos
  • Use Shadow
Double Exposure Exercise
This is the result that I got after following the tutorial slides provided by sir.

Project 2A Double Exposure
Task
  1. Take my own portrait photo (portrait mode).
  2. Collect background images online (high resolution).
  3. Import all images to Photoshop and convert to black & white/ monochrome (Can be mixture of colour with B & W).
  4. Make my own double exposure photo.

Process

This is the original photo I used for this task.
Figure 1.1

The project was pretty simple since I've practiced it by doing the exercise once so I did not have too much struggles when I did my own double exposure.

Final Result
Final product

For this edit I wanted to have some flowers in it and that's when I saw a photo of the flowers taken from warm angle so I wanted to make it look the flowers are growing from the clouds instead of sky to make it look both weird and fascinating.
