Week 1

During this week, we were introduced to the class and was brief about what the subject is all about. We were also shown some examples made by students from previous semester on what we will be working on in the future.

Task:

1. Bezier Game https://bezier.method.ac
   
2. Create my E-Portfolio blog.
3. Register Pinterest
4. List down 3 of my favourite graphic design composition work from Pinterest. Explain on my E-portfolio blog about why I like the designs.

I like this design because the image reminds me of the concept “thinking out of the box” as the bird is shown to be flying through a rectangular box. It also somewhat give off a feeling of the bird having its own freedom to do whatever it wants which is one of the important element for an artist when they want to create or represent something. The images have a lot of elements such as shapes, lines, and colours yet it doesn’t look too complicated or obnoxious thanks to its light tone colour. Overall, it is a very pleasant design to look at.

• Freedom of expression

The design intrigued me a lot because it shows that we need to be open minded. The rainbow that could represent both the LGBTQ community which was often being discriminate by others and it could also mean the sign of hope. The woman’s head in the image have all kinds of different things like insects, building and flowers. From what I could see from the image, it could also shows that we need to be creative.

I like this design because it shows self love. People starts to grow when they starts to focus on themselves and pay attention to what they need. On the image, the plants woman represented growth and she is only wearing an undergarment showing that she’s not afraid to show herself and there is nothing to be ashamed of. This is a kind of spirit that should be encouraged.

Bezier Game

I managed to finish my Bezier game. It was tough at first especially when I wasn't sure what to do. I was stuck at the heart level for a really long time till I figured out how the rules work. After that, it became easier and I was able to get through all the levels.
