Week 2

This week, we had a lecture about introduction to composition. We learnt about

• Introduction to basic composition.
• Rules of Third.
• Golden Ratio.
• Composition framing & cropping.

Practical: Collage Design Elements

Task

1. Choose and identify my collage's design elements to be cut out and compose it into your own concept & story.
2. Pre compositing my collage's design elements into a composition.
3. Take 3 photo of my collage pre-composition and explain my concept & story.

Collages 

For the first collage, I wanted to make a collage out of a beach theme because there were a lot of beach and summer related pictures in the magazine that I use. So I came out with this.

Collage#1

For the second collage, I saw a lot of flora in the magazine so I made it look like the girl is in the secret garden. I covered her face with a rose because I wanted to keep the mysterious vibe for the secret garden theme.

For this collage, I wanted to do something unique because the magazine that I use is a summer fashion magazine so I figured I could make a dress for the model using the sky and sea pictures onto the modal.
